Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at Rice University is addressing important ecological and evolutionary questions with collaborative research initiatives and innovative ecological, evolutionary, and genomic tools.

Graduate Program

Our graduate program fosters research skills through working relationships between students and faculty. Graduate degrees include M.A., M.S., and Ph.D. Courses range from classroom lectures, to discussion-oriented seminars, and field study throughout the US and in several foreign countries.

Undergraduate Program

Undergraduate studies emphasize a broad range of classroom courses, laboratory practicals, and research experiences that can lead to either a B.S. or B.A. in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology or a B.A. in Biological Sciences.
