Requirements for the Ecology and Evolutionary Biology Minor
The EEB minor is intended for the large number of students with an avid interest in ecology and evolutionary biology but whose major interests are in other departments.
General Biology (6 credits):
- BIOC 201 / EBIO 202 - Introductory Biology I and II
Biology Lab (2 credits):
- EBIO 213 - Introductory Lab in Ecology & Evolutionary Biology
Advanced EEB courses (12 credits):
- Four EBIO lecture courses at 300 or 400 level

Answers to questions about minors
1) Can I combine a minor in EEB with a BA or BS in EEB?
No. You can only get one of the three EEB degrees - BA, BS, or minor.
2) Can I combine a minor in EEB with a BA or BS in BCB?
Yes.
3) Can I combine a minor in EEB with a BA in Biological Sciences?
No. The BA in Biological Sciences cannot be combined with any degree in EEB or BCB.
4) Can I combine a minor in BCB with a BA or BS in EEB?
Yes.
5) Can I combine a minor in BCB with a BA or BS in BCB?
No. You can only get one of the three BCB degrees - BA, BS, or minor.
